Carriage for the future

Back in March of this year we undertook one of our most ambitious projects to date. The team at @PriestmanGoode collaborated with @transortgovuk to create a concept carriage for the future, offering passengers a more flexible and comfortable way to travel.


The resulting design was named Proteus. To gauge public feedback and to demonstrate design features, we were tasked with building 4.7 meter wide demonstration interior. It was initially installed in Marylebone station in London and tested by members of the public for 2 weeks.

#VRheadsets offered an even more immersive experience for people wishing to see the full concept up close.
