In 2025, we truly stand by our word when we say we offer worldwide services. Whether it’s on a design consultancy basis, or a design, manufacture and install style project, we are constantly improving our ways of working and who we can offer our services to. So far this year we are already working on projects from Washington in the USA, to St Lucia in the Caribbean and multiple European cities such as Amsterdam, and Florence.

Topic Of The Month - Designing for Stadiums

At Cantilever, we are getting more and more involved with designing bars for stadiums and event spaces.

Our project collection is building up, with Chelsea Football Club, The Outernet and The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways at the O2 Arena under our belt already, and many more to come this year.

This is becoming a firm favourite project type for our designers to work on in the studio as it lets them really delve into the details of what makes a bar operate well!

When designing for stadiums it’s vital we cater to the small interval periods, and the rush of customers all wanting a drink in a short space of time!

These projects really put the focus back on the bar operations, so we LOVE collecting data and utilising it to drive our designs, and prove our thinking. We can then be confident that our bars are capable of the drinks output we say they are.

In February Lottie and Jane were in Berlin to visit some fantastic venues that we are currently working with. The aim is to improve their bar designs from an operations perspective to increase their drink output efficiency. This month, we are using our knowledge and experience to help even more stadiums in Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Antwerp too.

Project Focus - Bar Magritte @ Hotel Amigo, Brussels
A throwback to a beautiful project of ours: Bar Magritte! Not only visually stunning, but highly capable from an operational perspective. This is one of our bar projects that was designed in collaboration with The Maestro himself - Salvatore Calabrese. Featuring some of our premium design features such as the CalabreseTM Shaker Sinks, this bar highlights that bespoke is best for our clients, offering a design that ticks all the boxes, without restrictions!

This project was one of our full build projects, including some stunning details such as the patinated brass bartop, fronts and gantry, as well as Kaldes granite and oak joinery on the backfitting.

Our lead designer (and now studio manager!) Gary says: “One of my favourite projects to date. Seeing this bar brought to life was immensely satisfying and the final result speaks for itself. The bar features a beautiful material pallet, complemented by lots of warm white lighting in key areas. And of course tucked behind the brass showstopper of a front bar, is a bespoke Cantilever stainless steel underbar with plenty of unique features; perfect for the staff to create some very impressive cocktails.”
