LTE Scientific are excited to announce the release of their newly redesigned Touchclave-Lab “K” Series autoclaves. Complete with an array of new and innovative features and sustainability focused upgrades, this enhanced range is set to redefine laboratory sterilization solutions.

LTE Scientific is delighted to announce the launch of its latest range of laboratory autoclaves, the Labclave-L Series. Engineered with a host of new features and enhancements, the series is set to elevate sterilisation performance and support laboratories in meeting their environmental and operational goals.

Designed for Sustainability, Built for Efficiency

Developed with efficiency, usability, and eco-conscious manufacture and operation in mind, the Labclave-L Series introduces a range of performance and sustainability focused upgrades. Notable enhancements include optimised steam generation, and a sleek, modernised design, all contributing to a lower environmental footprint and improved user experience.

Enhanced Features as Standard

Each unit is manufactured to deliver outstanding performance, ergonomic benefits, and improved operator safety. Key standard features across the range include:

•Automatic pneumatically operated powered doors with built-in emergency stop

•20-program touchscreen control system for flexible cycle selection

•Air ballast system to safely sterilise liquids and reduce cycle times

•Armoured load probe for robust, reliable temperature monitoring

•Enhanced Operating Range of 105°C to 140°C for a wider range of applications

These additions streamline the sterilisation process, improve workflow, and minimise operator risk.

Flexible Sizing to Meet Evolving Laboratory Needs

To accommodate a large variety of laboratory environments, the Labclave-L Series is available in a wider range of chamber sizes. Standard capacities include 150, 225, 300, 360, and 450 litres, with larger 640 and 730-litre models set to launch late 2025. Pass-through variants, ideal for laboratories requiring a separation between clean and dirty environments or requiring controlled workflow, will also be available late 2025 in capacities from 300 to 730 litres.

Sustainable by Design

Sustainability has been central to the redesign of these units, embracing a holistic approach that spans the entire manufacturing and operating process. Every unit is manufactured completely at LTE’s UK factory in Oldham, Manchester, using locally sourced materials and components wherever possible to minimise transport emissions and support the local economy.

•Easy-assemble panels to reduce welding requirements, thereby reducing energy use, while also simplifying servicing of the unit on site

•Durable stainless-steel construction limits painted surfaces, which in turn reduces chemical and electricity usage

•Optimised material usage helps to reduce waste without compromising performance
