Leafield Environmental wins a King’s Award for Enterprise

Leafield Environmental has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for its excellence in International Trade.

Announced today (Tuesday 6 May 2025), Leafield is one of 197 organisations nationally to be recognised with the prestigious award.

Employing 42 people, Leafield Environmental was founded in 2010 and is based in Corsham, Wiltshire. The company designs and manufactures premium plastic recycling and litter bins, agricultural products, materials handling products, custom cases, and highway street furniture.

Leafield won the King’s Award for International Trade for Outstanding Short-Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.

Managing Director, Philip Maddox, says:
We are delighted to have achieved a King’s Award for Enterprise. Leafield Environmental’s products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality by dedicated teams at our factory in Corsham, Wiltshire, and sold to the world – all through the hard work of people who live locally and have worked at the company for many years.
It’s especially exciting to be recognised for our excellence in international trade. Despite a challenging manufacturing landscape, Leafield’s overseas sales have grown by 63% over three years and now make up almost half of our total sales.

I look forward to the opportunities the King’s Award will offer in expanding the reach of our quality, sustainable products to markets across the globe.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.

The Award programme, now in its 59th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.

Leafield Environmental is an award-winning UK manufacturer of premium litter and recycling bins, agricultural/materials handling products, custom cases, and highway street furniture.
