Leafield Environmental Celebrates Prestigious King’s Award Win and Major Sustainability Milestones in 2025

Leafield Environmental, a leading UK designer and manufacturer of recycling, highways, horticultural and protective case solutions, is marking the end of a landmark year that has seen the business achieve one of the highest honours in British industry and continue its strong programme of innovation and sustainability investment.

Awarded The King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade

In June, Leafield Environmental was officially recognised with The King’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, reflecting the company’s continued international growth and success in export markets. Managing Director Phil Maddox attended a Royal reception at Windsor Castle, hosted by His Majesty King Charles III, to celebrate the achievement.

A formal presentation took place on Friday 17th October 2025, when the Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, representing His Majesty, visited the company’s Corsham headquarters to present the award in front of colleagues, customers, suppliers and local representatives.

Phil Maddox commented:

“Receiving The King’s Award is an incredible honour and a testament to the innovation, dedication and skill within every part of our business. We are exceptionally proud of the achievement and the people who made it possible.”

New Product Launches Across the Business

Leafield Environmental has continued to expand its offering with several key new product developments in 2025:

  • Leafield Recycling - the launch of the EnviroPlex range to support councils and businesses preparing for Simpler Recycling legislation in England.
  • Amberol - the introduction of Amberveil, a modular living screen system designed for placemaking, wellbeing and greener public spaces.
  • Leafield Cases - expansion of Aegis custom protective cases with new modular sizing, offering increased configuration options for defence, emergency, medical and industrial equipment.

These innovations demonstrate the Group’s commitment to supporting cleaner, safer and more sustainable environments across the UK and internationally.

Strengthening Sustainability Commitments

As part of its drive to reduce carbon emissions, Leafield Environmental installed solar power generation at its primary manufacturing facility in Wiltshire during 2025.

This major investment has already enabled the business to:

  • Significantly lower grid energy consumption
  • Reduce its operational carbon footprint
  • Achieve meaningful long-term cost savings

The company continues to prioritise environmentally conscious manufacturing and product design throughout its operations.

Looking Ahead

“We are ending 2025 stronger than ever,” added Maddox.

“With continued investment in innovation, sustainability and customer partnership, we are excited for what 2026 holds for the Leafield Environmental family.”
