Wobble Sticks
The UHV Design Wobble Stick features a slimline, modular design that leverages advanced high-power magnetic coupling technology.
This innovative coupling method eliminates the need for long edge-welded bellows stacks commonly found in traditional wobble stick configurations. As a result, the risk of vacuum leaks is significantly reduced—an especially critical advantage in deposition environments such as Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE). In such applications, particulate contamination or material build-up between bellows convolutions can lead to premature failure or reduced operational lifespan.
We also offer a dedicated range of Wobble Sticks engineered specifically for use with popular VT-SPM systems.
Key Features
- In-line and right-angled version with +/-22° tilt
- 100-350mm stroke range (50mm increments)

- Bakeout to 250°C without the need to remove the outer magnet assembly
- WSG40 includes trigger grip
- Choice of end effectors for flag, puck and esca stub (see below)
