ERG APC Powers Ahead with Solar Panel Installation as Part of Sustainability Strategy
ERG Air Pollution Control Ltd has taken a bold step in its ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility with the successful installation of 348 high-efficiency solar panels across its Horsham site.
Completed in just six weeks by local contractor Solar Dynamics, the 91kW solar array spans the office roof with a further 137kW on the workshop building. Each 555 Watt panel contributes to a clean energy solution forecast to meet the site’s full annual power needs, reducing ERG’s reliance on the grid and saving significant costs beyond the system’s payback period.
The solar system, which went operational in April 2025, is part of ERG APC’s broader sustainability roadmap. The company has already installed EV chargers for staff, implemented smart metering to optimise usage, and sources 100% of its residual grid power from certified renewable sources.
“This installation reinforces our long-term goal to operate with minimal environmental impact, while delivering engineered solutions for cleaner air,” said Peter Batt, Commercial Director a tERG APC.
In its first weeks of operation, the system has already produced over 824 kWh and offset 3 kg ofCO₂, with long-term benefits expected to grow substantially.ERG continues to lead by example, proving that industrial performance and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
