Odin Partners Strengthens ESG and Charity Focus Under Co-Founders James Hext and Mounaver Thomas
Odin Partners, a specialist executive search firm, continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact.
Under the leadership of co-founders James Hext and Mounaver Thomas, the firm has recently expanded its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts while also raising substantial funds for UK-based charities.
Tree Planting with Evertreen
In a move to support global reforestation, Odin Partners has teamed up with Evertreen, an organization focused on restoring forest ecosystems around the world. Through this initiative, the company plants 10 trees for every executive placement made. Thousands of trees have already been planted through this program, helping reduce carbon emissions and promote biodiversity.
James Hext emphasized the firm’s belief in measurable outcomes over promises, saying the partnership reflects a wider effort to align business with environmental responsibility.
Fundraising for UK Charities
Alongside its sustainability efforts, Odin Partners continues to support charitable causes across the United Kingdom:
Charity Run Initiative: Team members took part in a 10K run, raising £10,000 for Child Bereavement UK and Brain Tumour Research.
Support for Macmillan: An additional £10,000 was raised through internal initiatives in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Mounaver Thomas highlighted that these efforts are part of a company culture focused on purpose-driven work, both inside and outside the business.
ESG as a Core Business Principle
Odin Partners has placed ESG at the heart of its long-term vision. The company continues to work closely with financial sector clients to promote sustainable growth, responsible leadership, and long-term value creation. Its actions are a clear example of how finance can serve a broader positive role in society.
