Frankfurt Project

The Frankfurt project required our expertise as leading pipe insulation contractors for the project.

The work involved insulating pipework from 3no. 15 metre high tanks  with mineral wool  and finishing with metal cladding. Prior to insulating the pipework, we installed trace heating to maintain the temperature within the pipework and avoid the pipework freezing. 

Within the bund area, we supplied and installed valve jackets to the valves and flanges as these can be easily removed for maintenance of the pipework system.

This was a very challenging project as the customer required the knowledge of an organised Thermal Insulation Contractor to undertake their project, due to the logistics required, such as organising insulation material deliveries from the UK to Germany, measuring the cladding requirements which was manufactured at our UK workshop and shipped to Germany for installation. Providing expert installation operatives to undertake the installations in Germany.  Thus showcasing our organisational skills, workmanship skills and willingness to undertake and project manage overseas projects.
