Keeping Connected – Three Peaks Annual Charity Challenge
SFL supported the Amelia Mae Foundation’s Three Peaks Challenge with two-way radios, helping keep volunteers connected and safe while raising £25,000 for Neuroblastoma.
Each year, SFL proudly supports the annual Amelia Mae Foundation Three Peaks Challenge by donating two-way radios.
This challenge raises awareness for Neuroblastoma and vital funds for families affected by the disease. Neuroblastoma is a rare and aggressive childhood cancer that mostly affects children under five. Treatment is long and tough, and support for families is crucial.
This year, 30 climbers took on the Three Peaks and completed the challenge in under 24 hours. The fastest team finished in just 19 hours and 19 minutes!
Thanks to the efforts of the team and the generosity of sponsors, an incredible £25,000 was raised. With the charity being 100% volunteer-led, these funds go directly to supporting families.
The radios donated by SFL were essential in keeping volunteers connected throughout the challenge — ensuring safety, smooth coordination, and team morale in tough conditions.
Andy, Deputy Chair of Trustees at the Amelia Mae Foundation, said:
“We could not do this without support from companies like SFL. Your help makes a real difference. From all the climbers, the volunteers, and everyone at the Amelia Mae Foundation — thank you.”
SFL are delighted to continue supporting the volunteers each year for the challenge and congratulate them on another successful event!
