Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service Enhance Firefighter Mobilisation with Callmy Alert
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) has taken additional steps to continue to improve firefighter mobilisation by adopting the Callmy Alert service.
This innovative communication platform ensures the rapid and secure recall of firefighters in response to emergencies, enhancing overall operational efficiency and public safety.
Callmy Alert is a state-of-the-art mass notification and communication solution designed to provide instant alerts, secure messaging and real-time data on how end users are responding.
By deploying this system, MFRS can swiftly notify on-call officers, and recall retained firefighters, ensuring an efficient response during critical incidents. Messages are delivered to a secure app, which can also override the end user’s device being on silent – useful for out of hours situations or civil contingency events.
The Callmy Alert system provides real-time notifications allowing officers and retained crews to acknowledge and respond to alerts, instantly informing Fire Control that they are responding, providing confidence that the right personnel are available for deployment to incidents.
Tony Watson, Director of Callmy Ltd, said: “We are proud to support Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service with our Callmy Alert solution. Our system is designed to provide fast, reliable, and secure communication in high-pressure environments, helping emergency services to respond effectively.”
The adoption of Callmy Alert aligns with MFRS’s commitment to embracing digital transformation and continuous improvement in emergency response strategies.
Other Callmy capabilities are also available, these include the Callmy Alerts lone working application, an enhanced rostering feature, carrier class SMS message delivery and Callmy integration within Control Room systems.
The service joins other forward-thinking organisations across the UK in utilising technology to enhance public safety and operational readiness.
