Designed for seamless integration with SEC systems, BeSec enables accurate, absolute characterisation of protein therapeutics without the need for column calibration.

BeSec delivers absolute molecular weight (Mw) and radius of gyration (Rg) measurements using low- and right-angle light scattering detection. Because molecular weight determination is independent of elution volume, BeSec eliminates reliance on reference standards, providing greater confidence when analysing complex or novel biologics.

For protein-based therapeutics, BeSec supports precise determination of molecular weight, oligomeric state, and the presence of high- and low-molecular-weight aggregates—critical quality attributes (CQAs) closely monitored throughout biopharmaceutical development. The system is ideally suited for the characterisation of monoclonal antibodies, antibody fragments, fusion proteins, and other biologics where structural integrity and aggregation control are essential for safety and efficacy.
