New heavy duty lifting table for EV batteries and heavy vehicle components

As commercial vehicle fleets continue to electrify, workshops face new challenges when working with increasingly heavy high voltage batteries, electric axles and powertrain components. To meet these demands, Stertil Koni has launched the HDLT 20 Heavy Duty Lifting Table, engineered specifically, but not exclusively, for modern EV and hybrid commercial vehicle maintenance.

With a lifting capacity of up to 2,000 kg and a maximum lifting height of 1950 mm, the HDLT-20 is a robust electro-hydraulic lift table designed for continuous workshop use.

A unique centred scissor mechanism ensures perfect balance under load, while a wide base frame and optimised weight distribution minimise tipping forces. The finger-safe scissor construction further enhances operator protection.

With 17 mechanical locking positions, an emergency stop, and a strong foot brake, technicians maintain full control at every working height. Fine‑adjustment mechanisms for roll and pitch allow millimetre‑accurate positioning, even when handling components up to 2,000 kg.

The wired remote control provides clear visibility of critical alignment points, while adjustable lifting and lowering speeds enable technicians to work with precision when removing and refitting heavy components.

The HDLT-20 is designed as a fully mobile scissor lift, operating cable-free to minimise trip risks. Integrated forklift pockets facilitate safe internal relocation within the workshop.

Designed in accordance with EN 1570‑1, the Stertil-Koni HDLT‑20 is compatible with dedicated EV battery support frames, ensuring flexibility for a wide variety of battery systems and commercial vehicle components.

Commenting on the launch, Derrick Peel, General Manager of Stertil-Koni, said:

“With the growth of electric commercial vehicles, workshops need lifting equipment that is both safe and precise. The HDLT-20 provides the stability and control required for handling today’s heavier components, making it a valuable addition to our workshop lifting range.”
