A 9-metre tower. A live manufacturing site. 140 tonnes of hardened sludge.

Not the easiest brief.

Twickenham Plating Group asked CSG to support the safe decommissioning of their ageing settlement tower at their production site in Poole.

The project involved hazardous waste removal, industrial tank cleaning, confined space entry, traffic planning and structural dismantling - all whilst Twickenham Plating's production continued as normal.

Our latest case study shows how CSG carried out the job safely, compliantly and without disrupting day to day operations.

Kent’s wastewater capacity just got a bit stronger.

CSG’s Aylesford Treatment Centre provides wastewater capacity for around 8,000 off mains homes, hotels and holiday parks across Kent and beyond.

Now, the site has also been certified by the Biosolids Assurance Scheme to produce organic fertiliser for local farms.

The accreditation means treated biosolids from the site can be used on crops grown to Red Tractor standards, helping turn wastewater by products into a useful agricultural resource while supporting local treatment capacity.

A failed sewage system is not ideal at the best of times.

At an outdoor activity centre used by thousands of children every year, it is a much bigger problem.

Southampton City Scouts faced the risk of closing Woodmill Outdoor Centre after discovering its sewage system had catastrophically failed.

CSG stepped in with technical advice, allowing the site to stay open, reintroduce showers and say goodbye to portable toilets.

We have now donated £1,000 through our Community Chest scheme towards the Scouts’ permanent sewage system replacement, helping protect a much loved outdoor space for young people.
