EcoMist HVAC humidifier saves energy at Devonshire Square

Devonshire Square is the City of London’s largest commercial estate in single ownership, and consists of a number of prestigious buildings, set around historic piazza style courtyards.

Indoor air quality and energy are important issues for the estates management, and a substantial reduction in energy consumption has recently been achieved by installing the unique EcoMist HVAC system, in place of the original compressed air operated humidifier systems, within the building’s air handling units.

For example, in one of the larger plant rooms at Devonshire Square, the new EcoMist HVAC systems are rated at only 1.5kw, this compares to over 30kw for the original compressed air humidifiers − a reduction of 95% !
