Kitagawa Power Chucks

Kitagawa Rotary Tables

High clamping torque, high accuracy and high rigidity, Kitagawa NC Rotary Tables feature proven technology.

The use of rotary tables allows the benefits of one-hit machining to be exploited to the full. Through this process, most - if not all - metal cutting requirements are undertaken by a single machining centre, irrespective of component complexity. The advantages of such a technique are clear. They include: only one machine set-up; one fixturing set-up; cost and time savings associated with reduced parts handling; and the elimination of tolerance errors accumulated as workpieces are moved from machine to machine.

Kitagawa Collet Chucks

Kitagawa Collet Chucks are available in a variety of different styles:

Standard Cap Collet Chucks for Spring and Varibore collets. Available in short size to maximize your lathe work envelope.
Quick Change Collet Chucks for Spring and Varibore collets, for when a quick change design is neccessary.
Fixed Length Collet Chucks are high accuracy, and ideal for second operation.
Pull Back Collet Chucks for Pull Back collets offer a compact design for improved tool access.

Collets

A large selection of collets in round, square and hexagon configurations, in a large variety of sizes to suit multiple different collet chucks.

Spring collets are available as D173E and D185E.

Varibore collets are available as D673, D677, D285, D120, D175, and D850.

Pullback collets are available as 5C and 16C.

Chick Workholding System 5

The Chick Workholding System 5 family has evolved through the pursuit of innovation. The range consists of the Qwik-Lok fast-acting vice for vertical CNC machines, and the Multi-Lok for horizontal machine, which is essentially multiple Qwik-Loks placed on the side of a tooling column. Take advantage of the dual station clamping benefits which allow you to present multiple parts to the spindle at once, cutting machine downtime which in turn saves you time and money.

Chuck Jaws

Abbott Tooling Columns

Abbott Workholding Tooling Columns, made of Tenzaloy naturally aged to T-6 condition, provide a practical, inexpensive and lightweight means of holding work accurately in a vertical or horizontal plane for CNC machining operations. They can be mounted directly on a machine table/pallet or used in conjunction with a rotary table. Standard Abbott tooling columns are available in multiple configurations built to any height, width and thickness dimensions required for your application. In addition, base sizes can be customized to fit any machine pallet. Many columns are also available in cast iron and/or steel. Abbott's pre-machined Universal Mount Tooling Columns are available as a stock option to our standard made to order fixtures. Abbott's Round Base Tooling Columns are designed for use with an indexer or 4th axis rotary table in vertical machining environments.

Wogaard Coolant Saver

The Wogaard Coolant Saver collects the cutting-fluid that is normally wasted through the machine tools automatic chip conveyor. The cutting fluid is reclaimed from the chip-container and returned to the machine tool's main tank for re-use.

Best Centric Grippers

The Best range of vices combine high-quality, high-clamping forces of up to 100kN with competitive prices. The vices can clamp on only 3mm of material; they have a +/-0.01mm centring accuracy with a five-micron repeatability of centricity for manual and pneumatic vices and a one-micron repeatability for hydraulic types.

Kitagawa Hydraulic Cylinders

From standard to advanced type, a recognised line-up of high performance cylinders accomodates every Kitagawa chuck.
A range of hydraulic cylinders are available, from high speed hydraulic cylinders, to double actuating cylinders.

Clamping Receivers

Created for use on CNC machining centres, the V-Tech Zero Point system’s unique design guarantees the secure and precise clamping of workpieces, even under tough conditions. The pneumatic, quick change and ZERO POINT clamp features compact dimensions, extraordinarily high clamping force and is made from top quality materials. V-Tech clamping and location elements can be purchased individually to easily adapt workholding and fixtures for lightning fast changeovers. V-Tech receivers are also available as a . Each V-Tech receiver provides 24KN of clamping force and has positioning slots to allow for indexing by 90 degrees. The self-clamping mechanism means the force is still applied after the air has been disconnected.

Full Length Expanding Mandrel

For gripping workpieces internally, Kitagawa's KEM Series of Expanding Mandrels is the best option. Able to grip internal diameters from 12.4mm to 82.7mm as standard, the KEM series' ID clamping offers full OD part access. With parallel expansion for optimum accuracy and grip force, the exanding sleeves are fully sealed for complete protection. The pull-back design draws workpiece securely against a part locator for 'dual-contact' rigidity and all mandrel models have a common flange configuration, enabling full interchangeability with all back bodies.Customized systems available - up to 635mm possible. 1/2-length, extended length and dual sleeves - for supporting a wide range of parts.

Fixturing Accessories

Fixturing Base Plates

The base plates in this section are available with holes, t-slots or with plain machinable faces. Within this section you will find flat plates and angled plates that are often found on vertical and horizontal machines, both CNC and conventional.

Fixturing Clamps

A variety of general clamping equiment for fixture building as well as direct-to-table machining operations. Top-clamps, edge clamps and various serrated, smooth and machinable items. Many items are suitable for CNC and conventional machines as well as for non-machining applications like fixtures for fabrication or assembly.

Fixturing Stops

We supply both fixed and adjustable positioning stops, ideal for mounting to a machine table or building into fixtures. Smooth, serrated, ball end fixture components and screws are available. Many can be partnered with items from the clamp section that have similar dimensions.

Reduction Bushes

Enable standard toolholders to be reduced in bore size for smaller boring bars and drills to be used.

SwiftKlamp

Dovetail workholding allows gripping on very small amounts of stock with large overhangs, making it great for workpiece access. Whilst dovetail workholding was originally developed for 5 axis machining, it has found uses in other applications too. We supply Klamp’s SWIFT hydraulic zero point system, based on the tried-and-tested HSK interface.

OK-VISE Machine Clamps

Founded in 1984 OK-Vise Oy is located in the lake district of central Finland in a Muurame Business Park, a centre of the megatronics industry in the northern European Union.
The OK-Vise low-profile wedge-operated clamp was originally designed by Mr Olli Kytölä to solve a specific workholding requirement in a flowmeter production process of the parent company Kytola Instruments Oy.
