PCB Assembly Services
We offer services from board build only to ready for market full turnkey manufacture, specialising in the fields of RF, Automotive and LED lighting.
Procurement
Components can either be free issued by the customer or we can procure at very competitive rates on their behalf.
Sourcing components is from a long established network of trusted suppliers both UK based and overseas.
Under the current economic climate and with the ongoing challenges faced with the supply chain of some components, we aim to stay as competitive as possible with realistic lead times.
Design
We have an associate design house that can take your product from concept to manufacture, with emphasis being on ‘design for manufacture’.
Lead Free Assembly
All products are manufactured using lead free components and production materials to be compliant with the RoHS Directive.
Quality, Test & AOI
Apollo staff undergo continuous in house training to comply with any new quality and test procedures.
If required, functional testing and serialisation of your product can be performed, usually from bespoke customer supplied test jigs and specifications.
We have Landrex Optima III automated optical inspection (AOI) for both surface mount and through hole assemblies and an AOI Systems scanner based inspection machine. They are designed to find any placement faults giving a higher level of quality assurance.
Surface Mount Assembly
0402 - 0.4mm fine pitch components are placed with one of our automated pick and place machines.
Through Hole Assembly
Boards are assembled by hand then either wave or hand soldered by our experienced personnel.

Founded in 1986, Apollo Electronics Corporation Ltd became a contract electronic manufacturer (CEM) in 1989, addressing the need for high-quality, quick-turnaround printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) for customers across the UK.
Conveniently located near the M1 and M62, we manufacture products using SMT, through-hole, or mixed technology, with components either procured by us or supplied by the customer.
We handle medium-volume production in-house—thousands of units weekly depending on complexity—and supply industries such as RF, LED lighting, emergency services, fire safety, power, automotive, mobile, and leisure.

PCB Assembly Services

Surface Mount Assembly
We use automated pick-and-place machines to position 0402 to 0.4mm fine-pitch components with precision.
Through Hole Assembly
Our skilled team hand-assembles boards, completing them with either wave or manual soldering. Boards are built by hand and soldered using wave or manual methods by experienced staff.
Procurement
Components may be supplied by the customer or sourced by us at competitive rates through our established network of trusted UK and international suppliers. Despite supply chain challenges, we remain committed to offering realistic lead times and competitive pricing.
