Counterbalance Forklift Truck Course

The Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Training Course (diesel, gas or electric) ensures the course candidate establishes a good level of theory knowledge and practical skills.

The course covers safe use of fork trucks and the dangers if used incorrectly as well as high to low racking and stacking work duties.

Reach Truck (Diesel, Electric or Gas) Course

The Reach Truck Course ensures the course candidate establishes a good level of theory knowledge and practical skills.

The course covers safe use of fork trucks and the dangers if used incorrectly as well as high to low racking and stacking work duties.

Side Loading Fork Lift Truck Course

The Side Loading Fork Lift Truck Training Course will provide the trainee with good theory knowledge and practical skills in lifting, stacking and loading techniques within the work place.

The operative will understand the safety principles of stability and apply this knowledge to movement of oversized loads.

Rough Terrain Masted Fork Lift Truck Course

The Rough Terrain Masted Fork Lift Truck Training Course will provide the Trainee with good theory knowledge and practical skills in the safe operation of the truck.

The operative will have understanding of safety and stability and be aware of other plant and practices on site.

Electric Pallet Truck Course

The Electric Pallet Truck Course, covering Manual or Ride-on will provide the Operative with safety knowledge of pallet truck load types, stability and hazards of the working area.

The course also teaches the correct methods of load transportation and operational techniques in accordance with the working environment.

180° Excavator Backhoe & Bucket Course

On completion of the 180° Excavator Backhoe & Bucket (JCB) Course, the Trainee will have established theory and practical knowledge and skills in safe operations of this specific type of plant.

Attachment training can also be incorporated within this course but may affect the course duration depending upon the trainees experience.

It is advised for the operative to attend a cable avoidance assistance course to complement any excavator course to assist in the safe detection of underground services.

360° Excavator Operator (Tracked & Wheeled) Course

The 360° Excavator Operator Course is for tracked or wheeled excavators and, above and below 10 tonnes.

The course provides the Trainee with good knowledge and practical skills in the operations and limitations of a hydraulic excavator and safe use of quick hitch release systems.

It is advised that the Operative also attends a Cable Avoidance System Course to compliment any Excavator Course, to assist in safe detection of underground services.

Skid Steer Loader - Bob Cat Course

The Skid Steer Loader Course provides the Trainee with good theory and practical skills in limitations and operational practices.

On completion of the course, candidates are thoroughly aware that at the work place, stability and hazards are a consideration along with observation and safety awareness at all times.

Loading Shovel (Tracked & Wheeled) Course

The Loading Shovel Course (Tracked & Wheeled) will provide the Trainee with good theory knowledge and practical skills in loading activities and procedures.

The operative will be aware of limitations and stability of the shovel loader and the importance of pre-start checks.

Attachment Training Course

The Health & Safety Executives have laid down laws and guidelines so that employers, or the self-employed, receive adequate training for the purpose of health and safety.

Upon completion of the Attachment Training Course, operatives will have good knowledge of how to use attachments safely; the effects of stability; the dangers; how to detach and attach correctly and also, be assessed and tested in its use, with certification issued.

Rear Tipping Dumper Course

The Rear Tipping Dumper Truck Course provides the course candidate with good knowledge of safety and practical skills of how to use the dumper at all times.

This course also includes awareness of other plant and appreciation of ground stability, according to working practices.

Forward & Swivel Dumper Truck Course

The Forward & Swivel Tipping Dumper Truck Course provides the course candidate with good knowledge of safety and practical skills of how to use the dumper at all times.

The Forward & Swivel Tipping Truck Course also includes awareness of other plant and appreciation of ground stability, according to working practices.

Ride On Compactor Course

The Ride on Compactor Course establishes a good level of theory and operational procedures for safe use of the Compactor.

The course also provides the course candidates with an understanding of the limitations and principles of operation, specific to their working duties.

Ride On Roller & Aggregate Materials Roller Course

The Sit On Roller (Aggregate & Material Roller) Course establishes a good level of theory and operational procedures for safe use of the Roller.

The course also provides the course candidates with an understanding of the limitations and principles of operation, specific to their working duties.

Pendant Gantry Crane Course

The Pendant Controlled Overhead Electric Travelling Crane & Hoists course will ensure the trainees establish a good level of theory knowledge and practical ability.

This course includes slinging and lifting techniques according to crane capability and working duties.

Banksman Slinger Signaller BS1 Course

The Banksman Slinger Signaller Course provides a good theory knowledge of site and slinging safety regulations.

It enables the Course candidate to identify safe and faulty equipment; to lift safely according to specific crane types and to understand the importance of communication.

This course also covers how to move, sling up and position loads correctly, irrespective of weight, shape and location.

Lorry Mounted Crane Loader Course

The Lorry Mounted Crane / Loader HIAB course will train the course candidate to carry out inspections of the lorry, set up the lorry and use slinging equipment and attachments to work requirements.

The course also provides the trainee with knowledge of hydraulic and crane operations as well as limitations due to stability of the vehicle.

Rough Terrain & Telescopic Materials Handler Course

The Rough Terrain & Telescopic Materials Handler Course provides the course candidate with sound theory knowledge and practical skills in the capacity of the truck.

At the end of the course the trainee will have learnt inspections and observation skills and the responsibilities of the operative at all times, within the workplace.

Telescopic Container Handler Course

On completion of the Telescopic Container Handler Course the Trainee will have established theory knowledge and practical skills in the safe operation of this specialised piece of equipment.

Stability and observation are paramount, as is covering specific travelling and load lifting techniques within the workplace.

Skip Vehicles Course

The Skip Vehicle Course will enable the Operative to establish good safety knowledge in lifting skip loads and the importance of stability during operation along with daily inspections of the vehicle and netting or sheeting in accordance with guidelines.

Please note: The Operative must hold a driving licence in accordance with the relevant classification of this vehicle type from the DVLA.

Tractor & Trailer Course

The Tractor & Trailer 4Ă—4 Course will provide the trainee with good knowledge of how the tractor works and of its gearing ratios and capabilities.

Hitching and steering with the trailer gives great perception in size and dimensions and gives appreciation of stability, crushing and blind spots which, all combined, compliment in making a safe operative.

Mobile Elevated Work Platforms Course

The Mobile Elevated Work Platforms Course covers various types of plant (MEWPS), including Scissor Lifts, Genie Boom and Cherry Pickers.

On completion of the course the Trainee will have established a good knowledge of theory and operational procedures for safe use of the MEWP.

The course also covers specific use of the safety harness as well as area and ground hazards.

Abrasive Wheel Regulations Course

The Abrasive Wheel Regulations Course enables trainees to be able to identify the types of disc and tools appropriate to the Approved Code of Practice and their use and also, to be aware of the hazards if used incorrectly.

Upon completion of the course, operatives will have the theory knowledge in safety and setting up of an abrasive wheel and of the hazards if equipment or PPE are disregarded or used inappropriately.

Inspection & Wearing of Safety Harness (Fall Arrest Systems) Course

On completion of the Inspection & Wearing of Safety Harness Course (Fall Arrest Systems Training) the trainee will have good knowledge of the types of harness and fittings and making inspections of the safety harness.

The course also covers site safety regulations specific to the trainee’s work practices and, as to the way a harness system must be worn and how to look after it.

Face Fit Testing Course

Since the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act, employers and The Health and Safety Executive have aspired in the endorsement of safety practices, within the work place and even more so in the prevention of respiratory disease, associated to COSHH Regulations 2002.

The wearing of masks or Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) has changed considerably over the years and it is now a requirement by law that Face Fit Testing is carried out, so that any individual has the correct type and correct fitting mask, that will help protect employees from hazardous dust, chemicals or vapours within the work place.

Euro Training Services Limited are qualified to deliver qualitative Face Fit Testing to companies who issue their employees with filtering, fold flat face piece masks and half masks.

We can incorporate testing alongside courses such as Abrasive Wheel Training, Safe Use of Floor Saws or Concrete Cutting. In fact to any industry or job where there is risk of lung diseases or respiratory disorder that may affect employees during their working duties.
