Topographical Survey

All our Topographical surveys are relative to OS datum as standard, allowing them to be integrated with any existing OS drawings. This is achieved by using the latest GPS equipment.
We will present your survey in a clear context and are easy to read and understand.
Common features included in a survey can be – Building positions, fences (boundaries), service covers, foliage, trees and levels.
Underground Utility Surveys
At GeoShape Surveys, we offer a range of underground services with an experienced team of surveyors, who understand the importance of reducing the risk on site by knowing what lies beneath prior to any excavation or drilling works.
Our teams are provided with industry standard radio frequency detection equipment and ground penetrating radars, This with our extensive knowledge allows us to achieve the best possible results when conducting an underground utility survey to allows us to successfully find the location of various assets within the ground.
Our findings can be easily presented in CAD format and overlaid onto a topographical drawing, or can simply be marked on the ground if required. Information such as pipe sizes, directional flow and materials can also be included in any CAD drawing when we undertake our underground surveying.
Measured Building Surveys

We also provide Elevation surveys of building interiors and exteriors. Our use of the latest 3D scanning equipment allows us to obtain the required data incredibly accurately.
Our surveys can be presented in 2D plans or 3D Models to aid any projects requirements.
Setting-Out / Engineering Surveys
At GeoShape Surveys we have a dedicated team to undertake all site setting out requirements. This service will allow our clients to utilise our surveyor to mark up design features such as kerb lines, foundations, drainage and much more to make construction as straight forward and as painless as possible.
We also offer as-built surveys, these surveys keep an up to date record of all stages of siteworks and installations.
