Prototype Manufacture Once you have your design on paper, you need it turned into something physical.

We can have just a single PCB made in a few days, and then populate it so that you can try it out before committing to a larger quantity. Even if the board uses mainly SMD components, we can manually place surface-mounted components without a screen for first off boards.

If you have the components available already, we can use those, or we can purchase the components as well - just let us know what you need us to do.

If you then decide to go for a small production run, we are happy to build any quantities from one upwards!

Occasionally, a batch of products is manufactured before the latest software or firmware is available. Therefore, while the hardware remains current, the software must be updated prior to delivery.

It could also be the case that a component within a circuit has been deemed unreliable, or an enhanced device can be incorporated to expand a product's functionalities. Just Electronics is proficient in this type of work, whether it involves a simple programming update or the removal and replacement of components.

Design                                         

Many of our clients provide their own designs, Gerber files, and even screens. If you require assistance with any of these elements, feel free to explore our design services. Once a non-disclosure agreement has been signed, you can submit your design and parts list, and we will provide a tailored quote.                                                                                        

Prototype                                          

Typically, new designs are prototyped prior to placing large orders. We will usually create a single prototype of your product for testing and inspection before you authorise production of a larger batch. Quote

Depending on whether you wish to supply your own components—partially or in full—we can prepare a customised quote based on your requirements. Every estimate is tailored to meet your specific needs and can include or exclude any of the services we provide. If you would like to discuss a quote with us, please do not hesitate to contact us. Order                

Once you accept our quote, you can place your order, and the standard lead time will apply. For urgent requests, an additional fee may be necessary, as we may need to increase staff to meet these demands. We will always discuss this with you beforehand, ensuring there are no hidden costs.                                                    

Procurement 

Assuming you have not provided your own components, we will procure the necessary items for your project. You can read more about our procurement processes and services on our procurement page.                                                                      

Manufacture

We partner with specialists to manufacture the circuit boards onto which we place the components. These parts are assembled either manually or automatically, and then soldered either by hand or using our flow soldering oven.

We are pleased to offer repair services for faulty equipment, regardless of whether we originally manufactured it.                          

If you are aware of the issue with your item, Just Electronics can promptly replace or repair the affected components.         

In cases where the fault requires diagnostics, we can thoroughly investigate the problem for you. While supplying a circuit diagram, drawing, test procedure, or a functioning sample can significantly expedite the diagnosis, they are not strictly necessary.

We have excellent connections with suppliers of both contemporary and vintage parts, including those items that are officially deemed obsolete. While we cannot guarantee repairs for every item, we approach every challenge with a tenacious spirit, resorting to giving up only as a last option.
