The soft loop side is the longest piece with the shorter hook tip welded to the end to create the closure. We recommend the following when choosing the size:
The longer the loop section is the longer the hook tip should be in order to create a strong closure. Loop lengths over 1 metre we advise a minimum hook tip of 100mm.
The shorter the hook tip, the larger wrapping diameter you will have.
To determine the strap length, use a piece of string to wrap round your items, this will give you the loop length you will need.
You can select the hook-tip to have either a rounded cut on the end (this makes feeding it through the buckle easier), or you can select a standard flat cut *See last image for an illustration.

It is an extremely strong rubber adhesive suitable for use on most surfaces including metal, glass, wood, rigid plastic and card; it can also be used on rough surfaces and outdoor applications as it is weather resistant. The hook to loop connection is so strong so it can be used for semi-permanent fixings or applications that require a more secure fastening. A 100mm x 50mm piece in ideal conditions can hold up to 15kg.

Incorporating a 50% stronger closure by using a hook system that is formed to face both ways, instead of the conventional tape having hook sides facing only one direction.
