Micropharm

MicroPharm is a commercial and clinical stage specialty pharmaceutical company with several proprietary technology platforms focussed on the development and commercialisation of specifically targeted polyclonal antibodies.  MicroPharm has two manufacturing sites in West Wales which are licensed by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.  Manufacturing comprises the purification of serum and plasma through to final formulation, sterile filling and packaging.  The Company’s commercialised products are antivenoms for human use which are sold in Europe, the Caribbean and West Africa. Products in development include an orally delivered polyclonal antibody drug for the treatment of Clostridioides difficile infection and two polyvalent antivenoms, one for use in sub-Saharan Africa and the other for use in North Africa and the Middle East.
