The Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is the most recognised training course for site supervisors in the UK. It is accredited by the CITB, and covers all aspects of health and safety on site.

The CITB Health & Safety Awareness course is one of the main requirements needed to obtain the CSCS green labourer’s card for access to large building sites. The course contents will cover all aspects of health & safety on site to ensure that delegates have a high level of understanding surrounding health & safety regulations when entering a construction site.

The Site Manager’s Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course is the most recognised training course for site managers in the UK. It is accredited by CITB, and covers all aspects of health and safety on site.

If delegates are uncertain with any aspects of the machines operations, the novice course would be required.

Slinger Signaller training is delivered through a combination of classroom-based learning and practical training. For those attending a Novice course, full practical and theory based training will be given prior to testing. Experienced courses will cover theory based training and practical familirisation only, therfore aimed at those already deemed competent with the slingers role. If delegates are uncertain with any aspects of this role, the novice course would be required.

The Excavator course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based learning and practical training. For those attending a Novice course, full practical and theory based training will be given prior to testing. Experienced courses will cover theory based training and practical familiarisation only, therefore aimed at those already deemed competent when operating the item of plant. If delegates are uncertain with any aspects of the machines operations, the novice course would be required.

The Act and associated Codes of Practice cover issues such as, the notification requirements, safety to highway users and the standards required of the reinstatement of all excavations on the highway, standards for signing, lighting and guarding, etc.

Assessments for NRSWA will cover one or more unit’s dependent on requirements.

This course incorporates just Unit LA of the Street Works Module – Location & Avoidance of Underground Apparatus. This module is aimed at operatives that are required to survey land prior to excavations, to locate underground services.

The below qualifications will be assessed via the OSAT (On Site Assessment and Training) route. The aim of this qualification route is to pinpoint the skills, knowledge and competency demonstrated by an individual while in a real-life workplace environment.

Trusted will deliver each qualification in accordance to the candidate’s needs. The qualification route is aimed to ensure very little downtime from the workplace and to avoid any additional stress to the candidate’s current workload. We will therefore ensure as a centre that we do not apply any unnecessary pressure to complete within a specific time frame, meaning this qualification route is very much candidate lead.

That being said, we can of course accommodate a reasonably fast turnaround on assessments if needed, providing we can obtain all of the mandatory NVQ evidence requirements needed.

Please note: The qualification awarding body will request that the candidate’s qualification is achieved within a 2-year time frame. If the candidate does go over this time frame -registration fees may apply to continue past this timeframe.
