Our U-Trough (UT) mixer is a horizontal shaft machine that is suited for free-flowing materials and is considered as the workhorse of the powder mixing industries.

All of our mixers are designed to operate reliably and last for at least 25 years, allowing you to have confidence in their performance. Our ‘U’ trough mixers are equipped with a number of innovative features for improved mixing and easier maintenance.

The ‘U’ shaped trough allows for easy access and shorter cleaning times between batches. Full homogenisation of the products is achieved thanks to the efficient blending action of the spiral or ribbon blades and the compact design allows for easier integration into your production line. For maximum throughput, a dust-tight lid can be configured so that products can be added directly to the mixer without having to pause the mixing process. Key-operated safety interlock devices are also fitted to give users peace of mind while the machine is running and the internal mixing chamber is being cleaned.

Our coating pans can range in size from table top lab machines for proof of concept, up to 72″ diameter machines for use on a full-scale production line. These machines can also be used for polishing, glazing, and dusting products.
