Direct Driven Centrifugal Fans
All of our centrifugal fans are produced in carbon steel which is protected from corrosion by painting for cataphoresis with two-component polyurethane enamel RAL 7045.
The standard arrangements for direct coupled fans are:
• Arrangement 4: Direct coupling. The impeller is connected directly on the shaft of the B3 mounted motor that is supported by the pedestal. Maximum air temperature 100°C. With cooling fan up to 220°C.
• Arrangement 5: Direct coupling. The impeller set directly on the shaft of the B5 mounted motor supported by a disc fixed on the side of the case.
• Arrangement 8: Joint coupling. The fan has a support and motor mounted on a chair outside the air circuit. Maximum air temperature 100°C. With cooling fan up to 300°C.

Smoke Extract
Ferrari offer a range in both centrifugal and axial fans. Ferrari have the approvals and can supply a wide range of fans for smoke extraction in fire applications where safe evacuation of personnel is required.
FR range centrifugal fans are certified 400 degrees C for two hours (F400)
SR range of centrifugal fans are certified 600 degrees C for two hours (F600)
EF range of axial fans are certified 400 degrees C for two hours (F400)
SF range of axial fans are certified 600 degrees C for two hours (F600).
Ferrari also offer jet fans for the extraction of smoke.
Jet fans can be supplied for tunnel and car park extraction systems. We offer fans with uni-directional as well as reversible functionality.
These fans are certified to EN12101-3 rated F300 (300 degrees C for two hours) or F400 (400 degrees C for two hours)
There are 12 sizes in the range from 315mm to 1250mm diameter impellers. We will undertake Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) ananlysis if required. We offer complete package of products including control system (links fans, sensors, warning devices with fire alarm system) CO sensors, accousitc warning sounders and warning lights.
