PBS Elastic Strap Machine

This machine is designed to automate slip case / bottle box production for consistency, efficiency, and quality. It will automatically wrap the cover sheet around the taped board carcass (slip case or bottle box).

Save on man-power – let OPTIMUS PRIME do all the hard work! A tool/mould will be required for each different box/slip case size. Material must have hot animal glue application or cold vegan glue heated to 30 degrees to ensure efficient, clean production.

Two Machines Required, Depending On Run Length. 

Machine 1: Pre-formed boxes are placed onto the pre-glued sheet and then held on the machine with a suction tool. The machine then wraps the material around the slip case / box automatically.

Machine 2 Option: For wrapping inside the slip case / box, this can either be done by hand (short runs), or the second machine can be deployed to finish the box, by tucking in the final part using a different tool.The vacuum suction tooling also enables the forming of the slip case / box from a die / grooved board. The board should be placed on the glued sheet, and suction holds the board on the tool and then let the machine complete the process – automatically!

The concentrations of ionised Hydrogen Peroxide molecules is similar to ambient outdoor concentrations making the treated indoor air perfectly safe to breathe.

Operator-Friendly Loading

The system is manually loaded using pre-die-cut cartons of fixed format (slightly larger than A4) with variable heights from 40 to 120 mm, enabling flexible product handling with simple operation.

After product placement, the machine automatically determines the final box thickness based on the selected carton, ensuring precise and consistent packaging results. Plastic-Free Product Retention

NEXUS Lite enables secure product stabilization without the use of plastic wrapping materials. Items can be shipped freely inside the carton when protection is not required. Integrated Bottom Labeling

A built-in bottom-side label applicator automatically applies shipping or identification labels during the packaging cycle. The finished package exits the machine with the label positioned on the top face, clearly visible and correctly oriented for immediate downstream handling, including automatic conveying or sortation lines.

Automatic Closing and Taping

The carton is automatically closed and taped, delivering a secure, professional package ready for dispatch.

3-Way Sortation Output

A pop-up ejection system directs finished boxes to three selectable discharge directions, enabling flexible line integration and workflow optimization.

Optional Robotic Palletizing

For higher automation levels, an optional robotic module can be added to automate palletizing and further streamline end-of-line logistics.
