FSKRDRA - Reverse Acting Rupture Discs

FSKRDRA - Reverse Acting Rupture Discs

Introducing the FSKRDRA Reverse Acting Rupture Discs, a cutting-edge solution utilising the latest technology in the industry. Designed with a unique camber, the convex disc maintains its shape under operating pressure, only altering when reverse pressure is reached. This innovative device operates with pressure ratios of up to 95% between operating and rupture pressure, demonstrating exceptional reliability through thousands of cycles. Upon reversion, the disc ruptures in just a few thousandths of a second along a scored line, ensuring complete opening without any fragmentation. These rupture discs exhibit lower sensitivity to temperature variations compared to traditional discs, making them ideal for applications with significant temperature fluctuations. Their advanced design allows for use solely in liquid applications and in cycling or pulsating conditions, all while maintaining safety margins. Moreover, they are particularly effective for isolating safety valves. With a wide selection of materials and thicknesses, FSKRDRA discs offer excellent resistance to corrosion. For enhanced protection, a PTFE lining can be applied to the process side of the disc. Notably, vacuum support is unnecessary, and these discs are capable of enduring high counter-pressures. ### Technical Specifications: - **Sizes:** From 1" (DN25) to 36" (DN900) - **Materials:** Available in Stainless Steel, Alloy 201, Alloy 400, Alloy 600, Alloy 625, Alloy C276, and Titanium - **Rupture Pressure:** Ranges from 0.41 bar g (6 psi g) to 137 bar g (2000 psi g), depending on the material and diameter - **Krl:** 0.48 - **Tolerance:** +/- 5% to +/- 20% - **Temperature Range:** From -196 °C to 480 °C - **Operating Margin:** Typically 90%, with the potential to reach 95% subject to service conditions - **Fragmentation:** None (will not disintegrate upon bursting) - **Use Under Valve:** Yes - **Corrosion Resistance:** Excellent - **Linings:** Available - **Container Types:** FSHR/A, FSHR/P, FSHR/F, FSHTC - **Rupture Sensor Options:** Electrical, Magnetic, Inductive, Optical - **Certifications:** ASME Certification (UD Stamp), PED Certification (CE Stamp), ATEX EX II 2 GD Certification available For further information and to request a rupture disc, please download our Rupture Disc Request Form.
