Auld Double Control Reducing Valve

Auld Double Control Reducing Valve

Auld Valves Ltd has ceased trading. However, please reach out to us, as we may have alternative options available in our product range.

The Auld Double Control Reducing Valve is ideal for applications requiring substantial pressure reductions, provided that the inlet pressure does not exceed 51 barG. This valve features a self-contained balance pipe, ensuring optimal performance with a closing pressure of +7% relative to the reduced pressure. Its balanced design remains unaffected by fluctuations in inlet pressure and responds instantly to changes in demand. The valve offers impressive reduced pressure accuracy of ±5% across a flow range from full flow down to 10% (with a turndown ratio of 10 to 1). Furthermore, its soft valve faces are well-suited for dead end conditions, and the single seat design facilitates precise control at low flow rates.

Reliance RWC TPR15 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2

Reliance RWC TPR15 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2" x 15mm 6 Bar - PTEM550857

The Reliance Water Controls (RWC) TPR15 Pressure and Temperature Relief Valves are compact devices meticulously engineered to safeguard against overpressurisation within unvented hot water systems. This crucial protection comes into play if the temperature or pressure controls fail. These valves are designed to be installed at the upper section of a hot water cylinder, where the highest temperatures can typically be found. In the event that the system temperature exceeds 95°C, the wax mixture within the temperature probe's element expands, causing the valve to lift off its seat and release water to waste. This process effectively alleviates excess pressure within the cylinder. Additionally, if the water pressure increases without a corresponding rise in temperature, the valve remains closed until it reaches the set pressure of the relief mechanism, at which point it opens to relieve the excess pressure. Certain models feature a PTFE coating on the MBSP inlet thread, significantly enhancing installation efficiency. ### Features and Benefits: - Provides protection against temperatures exceeding 95°C - Prevents dangerous overpressurisation - Twist-top cartridge design facilitates easy servicing - Available in a variety of pressure settings and probe lengths - Some models include a PTFE coating for added convenience ### Specification: - **Size:** 1/2" x 15mm - **Connections:** BSP Male Inlet x Compression Outlet - **Materials:** Brass - **Medium:** Hot water only - **Set Pressure (Set & Locked):** 6 Barg - **Temperature Relief:** +90 to 95 °C - **Discharge Capacity:** 10 kW - **Probe Length:** 95 mm - **Product Code:** PTEM550857 - **Notes:** Includes PTFE, WRAS approved Ensure the safe operation of your unvented hot water system with the RWC TPR15 Pressure and Temperature Relief Valves, an essential investment for any modern heating system.
