AURA EX2 Two Stage Pressure Reducing Regulator
The AURA EX2 regulator is meticulously crafted to provide precise and consistent primary pressure control for gases or liquids, accommodating inlet pressures of up to 6000 psig. Unlike standard regulators, the EX2 is specifically designed for applications where even slight fluctuations in outlet pressure due to diminishing inlet pressures are intolerable. At the heart of the EX2 lies AURA’s innovative dual encapsulated seat design, which merges multiple moving internal components into a single comprehensive unit. This advancement minimises maintenance needs, eliminates common failure points, and enhances long-term reliability. Each encapsulated seat is protected by a 10-micron, 360° filter, ensuring superior particle filtration compared to conventional pressed-in disks. Unlike typical regulators that filter solely through the pipeline port, the EX2 safeguards against harmful particles from all inlet ports. A diverse selection of seat materials and orifice sizes guarantees optimal performance across a range of demanding applications. AURA’s precision machining process provides metal-to-metal seals that ensure the highest level of leak integrity while achieving ultra-smooth surface finishes of 4–25 Ra to minimise corrosion. The regulator’s compact internal volume also cuts purge gas consumption, resulting in improved operational efficiency. Every EX2 is assembled within a Class 100 cleanroom, inclusive of all gauges, fittings, and valves. Each unit undergoes thorough cleaning for oxygen service, is subjected to 100% helium leak testing, and passes multiple flow and function tests, ensuring unparalleled purity, durability, and reliability. For environments that are highly corrosive, the EX2 is available with Dursan® LS inert coating technology, offering exceptional resistance to acidic and caustic media, frequently outperforming exotic alloys. This makes the EX2 a dependable choice for critical applications.

Self Closing Lever Globe Valve / Flushing Valve
A marine self-closing lever valve is a manually operated valve featuring a spring-loaded lever mechanism that automatically returns to the closed position once the operator releases the lever. These valves are essential in scenarios where a brief, controlled release or sampling of fluids is required — particularly in marine settings to ensure safety and protect the environment.
Purpose of a Self-Closing Lever Valve
- Enables controlled manual release or draining of liquids.
- Safeguards against accidental or unattended open positions.
- Commonly utilised in:
- Fuel and oil drain lines
- Tank sampling points
- Bilge or sludge drains
- Lube oil system drains
We supply self-closing lever globe valves and flushing valves from several leading manufacturers. Please get in touch with us for your specific requirements.
Self Closing Valve
A marine self-closing valve is an essential component designed to automatically revert to a closed position after manual operation. These valves are extensively utilised on ships to prevent unintentional fluid discharge, enhance safety, and ensure adherence to pollution and fire prevention regulations.
What is a Marine Self-Closing Valve?
This type of valve features a spring-loaded mechanism that opens upon manual activation, typically via a lever or push button, and automatically closes once the operator releases it. In its default state, the valve remains closed, thereby preventing the unintended discharge of fluids such as fuel, oil, or bilge water.
We offer a comprehensive range of Self-Closing Valves from leading manufacturers. For further information or to discuss your specific requirements, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Bailey 480 Cartridge Assembly Relief Valve
This spring-operated liquid relief valve features a cartridge-type assembly that can be easily withdrawn from the body without disturbing the spring setting, thus relieving pressure efficiently. This innovative design allows for the cleaning of seating surfaces without the need to reset the valve, making maintenance straightforward and hassle-free. Commonly used with positive displacement pumps for relief or bypass applications, the spring cartridge assembly can also be supplied separately for integration as a pump bypass relief valve. Furthermore, the spindle is equipped with an ‘O’ ring to safeguard the spring, especially in corrosive environments.
