AURA EXF High-Flow Single Stage Pressure Reducing Regulator
The AURA EXF is meticulously designed for the primary control of high-flow gases and liquids, operating efficiently at delivery pressures of up to 250 psig. Its balanced stem seat design accommodates larger orifices and seat sizes to facilitate higher flow rates, all while eliminating the necessity for spring-assisted shutoff. This innovative design minimises outlet pressure fluctuations, ensuring stable and reliable performance. The EXF features AURA’s advanced dual-surface diaphragm, which provides precise and sensitive pressure control, even at low pressure levels. With a 0.8 orifice size and ½” process ports, the EXF guarantees optimal flow capacity for demanding applications. Utilising a precision machining process, AURA achieves ultra-smooth surface finishes of 4–25 Ra, significantly reducing corrosion and extending the service life of the regulator. Its minimal internal volume also lowers purge gas requirements, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency. Each EXF regulator is assembled in a Class 100 cleanroom as a complete unit, with all gauges, valves, and fittings pre-installed. The assembly undergoes thorough cleaning for oxygen service, is 100% helium leak tested, and is subjected to multiple flow and function tests to ensure purity, durability, and leak integrity in even the most challenging environments. For applications that are highly acidic or caustic, the EXF is available with Dursan® LS inert coating technology, offering exceptional corrosion resistance in comparison to exotic alloys or passivated surfaces. By merging its balanced stem seat design with advanced material options, the AURA EXF provides the performance, flexibility, and reliability that engineers trust for high-flow applications worldwide.
