Reliance RWC 104 Series Pressure Relief Valve 1

Reliance RWC 104 Series Pressure Relief Valve 1" x 1.1/4" F x F 6 Bar - PREL104002

The PREL104002 Reliance Water Controls (RWC) 104 Series High Capacity Potable Water Pressure Relief Valve is designed to efficiently discharge excess water from the system when cold water over-pressurisation occurs in unvented cylinders. This high-flow valve is specifically engineered for larger capacity systems, ensuring superior performance and safety. The Reliance Valves 104 Series offers a robust solution for protecting unvented systems from over-pressurisation. Each valve is pre-set and securely locked to a specified pressure; should the system surpass this threshold, the valve will automatically lift, allowing water to discharge safely into the waste system. The outlet connection is designed to be one size larger than the inlet, ensuring that the valve can handle high-capacity discharges effectively. This valve serves as the primary safety device within an unvented system. Available in various pressure settings from 3.5 to 8 bar, as well as multiple connection sizes, it supports flexible installation options.

Features and Benefits:

  • High-flow design ideal for larger capacity systems.
  • Easy removal of the single-piece cartridge for cleaning or replacement.
  • Innovative diaphragm design offers enhanced resistance to scale build-up.
  • Effectively protects against over-pressurisation.
  • Varied connection sizes for versatile installation.
  • Set relief pressure range from 3.5 to 8.0 bar.

FSKRDN - NanoScored Rupture Discs

FSKRDN - NanoScored Rupture Discs

The FSKRDN NanoScored rupture disc incorporates advanced technology to deliver highly reliable overpressure protection. The convex disc maintains its original shape during normal operation and only reverses at the set burst pressure. It supports operating-to-burst pressure ratios of up to 95% and withstands thousands of pressure cycles without loss of performance. When activated, the disc opens fully in milliseconds along the scored line, producing no fragments. Compared with conventional designs, it is less sensitive to temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for applications with wide temperature variations.

Thanks to its innovative construction, the FSKRDN can operate with liquids only, including in cycling and pulsating conditions, without compromising safety margins. It is particularly well suited for isolating safety relief valves. A wide selection of materials and optimized thickness provide excellent corrosion resistance, which can be further enhanced with an optional PTFE lining on the process side. The disc does not require vacuum support and is capable of withstanding high back pressures.
