AURA EX2 Two Stage Pressure Reducing Regulator
The AURA EX2 regulator is meticulously crafted to provide precise and consistent primary pressure control for gases or liquids, accommodating inlet pressures of up to 6000 psig. Unlike standard regulators, the EX2 is specifically designed for applications where even slight fluctuations in outlet pressure due to diminishing inlet pressures are intolerable. Each encapsulated seat is protected by a 10-micron, 360° filter, ensuring superior particle filtration compared to conventional pressed-in disks. Unlike typical regulators that filter solely through the pipeline port, the EX2 safeguards against harmful particles from all inlet ports. A diverse selection of seat materials and orifice sizes guarantees optimal performance across a range of demanding applications. AURA’s precision machining process provides metal-to-metal seals that ensure the highest level of leak integrity while achieving ultra-smooth surface finishes of 4–25 Ra to minimise corrosion. The regulator’s compact internal volume also cuts purge gas consumption, resulting in improved operational efficiency. Every EX2 is assembled within a Class 100 cleanroom, inclusive of all gauges, fittings, and valves. Each unit undergoes thorough cleaning for oxygen service, is subjected to 100% helium leak testing, and passes multiple flow and function tests, ensuring unparalleled purity, durability, and reliability. For environments that are highly corrosive, the EX2 is available with Dursan® LS inert coating technology, offering exceptional resistance to acidic and caustic media, frequently outperforming exotic alloys. This makes the EX2 a dependable choice for critical applications.
FSKRDN - NanoScored Rupture Discs
The FSKRDN NanoScored rupture disc incorporates advanced technology to deliver highly reliable overpressure protection. The convex disc maintains its original shape during normal operation and only reverses at the set burst pressure. It supports operating-to-burst pressure ratios of up to 95% and withstands thousands of pressure cycles without loss of performance. When activated, the disc opens fully in milliseconds along the scored line, producing no fragments. Compared with conventional designs, it is less sensitive to temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for applications with wide temperature variations.
Thanks to its innovative construction, the FSKRDN can operate with liquids only, including in cycling and pulsating conditions, without compromising safety margins. It is particularly well suited for isolating safety relief valves. A wide selection of materials and optimized thickness provide excellent corrosion resistance, which can be further enhanced with an optional PTFE lining on the process side. The disc does not require vacuum support and is capable of withstanding high back pressures.
