FSKRDS - Sanitary Rupture Discs

FSKRDS - Sanitary Rupture Discs

The FSKRDS Sanitary Rupture Discs are a compression-loaded disc or reverse-acting disc, scored around the circumference. This disc has been designed to meet the high quality standards required by 3-A SSI, whose aim is to ensure public health through hygiene equipment. The FSKRDS model is particularly suitable for the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries and represents the state-of-the-art for these sectors. This disc is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel (or other alloys upon request of the client). It’s smooth surface makes it particularly suitable for C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions. PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection). The operating pressure modifies the camber of the convex disc only when reverse pressure is reached. Upon reversal, the disc opens completely in a few milliseconds along the score line, thus preventing fragmentation from forming. The FSKRDS disc, with its innovative design, can be used with liquids only and can resist both vacuum and high pressure.

NABIC valves are now backed by an industry-leading five-year guarantee, providing peace of mind and reliability.

Product Specifications

Sizes Available: 3/4" (DN15), 1" (DN20), 1.1/4" (DN25), 1.1/2" (DN32), 2" (DN40), 2.1/2" (DN50)

Connections: Male BSPP Inlet x Female BSPP Outlet

Materials: Gunmetal Body, Stainless Steel Wetted Parts, Stainless Steel with PTFE Disc

Set Pressure: 1.0 to 12.5 Barg (DN15 to DN25), 0.4 to 12.5 Barg (DN32 to DN50)

Temperature Range: -20°C to 195°C Max

Important Note: The DN value embossed on the valve body indicates the NABIC 500 body size utilised in the manufacturing of this valve and does not correlate with the inlet or outlet size. For instance, a valve with 1" connections (DN25) is constructed using a DN20 NABIC 500 valve body, and thus, the DN20 will be marked on the side of the valve.

Optimise your system's safety and efficiency with the NABIC 500SS High Lift Safety Valve, the top choice for engineers and technicians seeking reliable performance in demanding environments.
