Advanced Handling Ltd Acquired by Sunnex Group

Advanced Handling recently acquired by the Sunnex Group, strengthen their range of materials handling solutions.

Advanced Handling, previously owned by Metalrax Group PLC, was acquired by the Swedish owned Sunnex Group on Monday 3 December 2012. The acquisition has multiple benefits for the established Peterborough based manufacturer as it will now be part of a group which itself, has a wealth of knowledge in the materials handling and lifting equipment industry.

The Sunnex Group has two specialist divisions, Sunnex Industrial and Sunnex Lighting & Medical. Sunnex had previously been growing sales in the UK through their existing operation, Movomech Pronomic (UK) which will now be absorbed into the business of Advanced Handling going forward.

Advanced Handling has a history of innovation across a wide range of industries and has encouraged a proactive approach to product development for increased safety and efficiencies for their customers. From their Market Deeping facility, Advanced Handling continues to design and manufacture standard and bespoke solutions comprising of: mobile and static scissor tables, access platforms, award winning stackers and mezzanine floor lifts.

The acquisition expands the range of materials handling solutions Advanced Handling currently provides with a complementary range of light duty trollies, scissor tables and overhead rail systems. A selection of the new range of materials handling and lifting solutions will be showcased by Advanced Handling at IMHX 2013, 19-22 March 2013 on Stand No. 20F86.
