Mali forms new government
President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita named defence and veterans minister Abdoulaye Idrissa Maïga as prime minister on 8 April 2017, following the resignation of Modibo Keita (no relation), prime minister since 9 January 2015.
Maïga took office on 10 April and a reshuffled cabinet was announced the following day.* = new minister † = change of position
