Our client has a superb opportunity for a Business Development Manager with a background in Industrial Automation to take responsibility for the sales and growth of the full product range of components and solution to the Energy Sector, specifically Renewable and zero emission energy. The successful candidate will be working to achieve design in  and specification of the clients products in the sector. You'll operate as a key driver of new business, working alongside experts in automation and connectivity to deliver technically tailored system solutions to a high-value client base. With the freedom to engage clients face-to-face and the support of a deeply knowledgeable technical team, you'll drive substantial value into key industrial markets.

Area Sales Manager - Process Control & Automation - Midlands

£55K base neg plus open ended Bonus, OTE c£70K Quality Car or allowance, Pension, Private Medical, 25 days Holiday.

One of the leading providers of innovative sensors, automation, instrumentation, remote I/O, Fieldbus, Intrinsically Safe, explosion protected, Hazardous Area certified, ATEX solutions and other complimentary automation products and components with leading customer service and expert support. As a technical sales engineer / field sales engineer, you are looking to achieve profitable business sales of the process automation range of products and the full product range into existing and new customers throughout the territory which includes East Midlands, West Midlands, Mid Wales, East Anglia. You will be selling into a wide variety of customer types such as Panel Builders, System Integrators, OEM’s and End Users both directly and via a Partner Distribution Network, as you manage an established customer base and access information on potential customers for development. To assist your success in this you will receive comprehensive on going product training.
