Crugan Holiday Park Transforms Play Area into Star Attraction

Crugan Holiday Park has given its outdoor play facilities a vibrant new lease of life, thanks to a recently completed installation by Sovereign.

. What began as a necessary update to an ageing and potentially unsafe play area quickly turned into an opportunity to transform the space into a central attraction that delights both children and parents alike.

Park Manager Mark Williams explained the reasoning behind the project: "The old play park was aged and becoming a bit of a health and safety issue." Having previously worked with Sovereign, Crugan turned once again to the trusted team, confident in their ability to deliver high-quality results.

"The service was great from beginning to end, including planning discussions and fitting the play park," said Mark. Working closely with Area Manager Andrea Southern, the project moved swiftly. The park team carried out the removal of old equipment themselves, allowing Sovereign to begin work immediately. The entire process, from planning to installation, was completed efficiently in a short window between the Easter and May half-term holidays.

The revamped play area now boasts a stunning selection of features, including a bespoke Connect Tower, thrilling zipline, Tree Top Tangle Trail, and a variety of swings to suit all ages. The design even evolved mid-installation, and Sovereign’s team responded with flexibility and positivity throughout.

The impact of the upgrade has been felt across the park: "Our customers are very happy with the new play park, which also provides a great impact when driving onto the park," Mark added.

With the success of this installation, Crugan has already approached Sovereign for further quotations at other sites - proof that great service, smart design, and happy customers make for a winning combination.
