EJOT UK Advances Digital Specification Strategy with NBS Source Partnership

Leading fastening manufacturer EJOT UK has announced a strategic partnership with NBS Source, enhancing digital access to technical data for its market-leading anchoring and flat roofing portfolios.

Leading fastening manufacturer EJOT UK has announced a strategic partnership with NBS Source, enhancing digital access to technical data for its market-leading anchoring and flat roofing portfolios.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in EJOT’s digital transformation journey. By integrating its core product range into the NBS Source platform, it provides architects, engineers, and specifiers with a streamlined, structured pathway to incorporate high-performance fastening solutions into their digital project models.

Specifiers can now access a comprehensive suite of EJOT’s anchoring technology via the platform, many of which are already supported by detailed datasheets, installation guidance, ETA’s and FM approvals. These include the majority of its concrete screws, through-bolts, heavy-duty anchors and resin anchors. Notably, the listing features the globally recognised LIEBIG Safety Bolt and Superplus BLS heavy-duty anchors. These systems are favoured for their modular design, which allows engineers to overcome the technical challenges typically associated with post-installed anchoring in concrete and other high-strength base materials.

In addition to its anchoring range, EJOT has integrated several of its most frequently specified flat roofing solutions into the platform. This includes the HTK 2G tube-washer and TKR fastener combination, a thermally-broken system engineered for securing membranes and insulation to steel or timber substructures. Furthermore, the listing features the JBS-R and EcoTek adjustable tube-washer combinations, providing specifiers with a precision-engineered solution for securing tapered insulation to concrete roof decks.

The decision to join NBS Source is rooted in the evolving regulatory landscape. With the Building Safety Act now necessitating a golden thread of information, the demand for transparent, high-fidelity data has never been higher.

James Uttley, Technical Support Engineer at EJOT UK, commented: “We are excited to be partnering with NBS for the first time and be part of what is a nationally and internationally respected platform for building product information.

“By listing our core anchoring and flat roofing fastening solutions on NBS Source, architects and designers can benefit from easier access to a range of industry-leading products to incorporate into specifications for both new build and refurbishment projects.

“But it is not only about accessibility of product information, it is about the accuracy, detail and quality of that information in a digital format. The Building Safety Act has led to the implementation of new construction processes that demand more detail than ever before on every aspect of a building’s specification in an effort to maximise supply chain transparency.

“Hence why NBS Source is so valuable as a resource that specifiers can depend on to obtain credible and trustworthy information as they seek to reduce the risk of costly errors and delays further down the line.”

NBS Source serves as a centralised, cloud-based library that allows users to find, compare, and specify products based on granular performance criteria. For the wider NBS user community, the addition of EJOT’s portfolio means more robust data is available to support sustainable and safe building design.

Jack Mowat, Account Manager at NBS Source, added: “We’re pleased to welcome EJOT’s fastening products to NBS Source. Their expanded presence on the platform provides specifiers with clearer, more detailed technical information to support accurate and well-informed specifications. Increasing the depth of product data available benefits both EJOT and the wider NBS user community as they compare options and make informed decisions.”
