The Sussex Sign Company Named Runner-Up for Business of the Year at the Seahaven Business Awards 2026
Last week was a very proud moment for everyone at The Sussex Sign Company as we were named Runner-Up in the “Business of the Year” category at the Seahaven Business Awards 2026.
The awards, organised by the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce, celebrate the very best businesses across the local area, recognising organisations that consistently deliver excellence, innovation, resilience, and outstanding customer service.
To receive recognition in such a competitive category was a huge honour for our business and our team.
As a company that started in 1995, we have spent more than three decades building a business based on quality workmanship, long-term relationships, and a commitment to doing things properly. Like many businesses, the past few years have brought plenty of challenges, but awards like this remind you how important perseverance, teamwork, and customer trust really are.
What makes this recognition particularly special is that it reflects the efforts of every single person within our organisation, from sales and design through to production, installation, vehicle wrapping, and administration.
Over the last year we have continued to invest heavily in the future of the business, including:
Expanding our dedicated vehicle wrapping centre at Goddards GreenAchieving Metamark Approved Vehicle Wrapping Centre statusContinuing our digital transformation and paperless workflowsInvesting in sustainability initiativesSupporting staff wellbeing and developmentMaintaining our focus on customer service during difficult trading conditions
None of this happens without an exceptional team behind the scenes.
I would also personally like to thank our customers, many of whom have supported us for years, and in some cases decades. In an increasingly competitive market, your loyalty and trust genuinely means everything to us.
Congratulations to all of the winners and finalists on the evening. Sussex has some truly outstanding businesses, and it was fantastic to celebrate local enterprise together.
We may not have taken the top spot this time, but coming second in “Business of the Year” has given us even more motivation for the future.
Onwards and upwards.
