TLJ Access Control unveils new brand reflecting its position as a technology-led partner
TLJ Access Control unveils a new brand identity reflecting its evolution into a technology-led partner for Build to Rent and single-family rental.
TLJ Access Control has introduced a new brand identity as part of a wider repositioning of the business, reflecting its evolution from a hardware-focused provider to a technology-led partner delivering integrated access solutions across the Build to Rent and single-family rental (SFR) sectors.
The company, which designs, manufactures and installs smart, contactless electronic door locks and access control systems, has expanded its offer in recent years to include mobile keys, system integrations and solutions focused on creating seamless, intuitive user experiences.
The rebrand has been developed to better align TLJ’s identity with its current capabilities and future direction, with the previous brand no longer fully reflecting the scale, capability and direction of the business.
The updated positioning presents TLJ more clearly as a provider of connected access solutions, expanding its role beyond product provision into delivering fully integrated access experiences. It also introduces a more consistent identity across the sectors the company operates in, including Build to Rent and SFR.
“We’ve grown a lot as a business over the past few years, and the reality is our brand hadn’t kept up with that. This rebrand is about properly reflecting the level we’re operating at today and where we’re heading next. Access control is no longer just about securing a door; it’s becoming part of the overall living experience. That shift is something we’ve already been delivering through mobile access, integrations and the way our systems work together. This rebrand brings that into focus and gives us a stronger platform for what’s coming next.”
Alex Graham, Sales Director, TLJ Access Control
The business confirmed that the rebrand does not signal any change to its core operations. Customers will continue to work with the same teams, engineering capability and support structure, with the update focused instead on improving clarity around the company’s offer and how it is delivered.
TLJ said the new identity is intended to provide a more cohesive experience across all touchpoints, from initial engagement through to installation and ongoing support, while maintaining its focus on innovation, integration and simplifying access for both operators and residents.
The move comes as the access control market continues to shift towards integrated, digital-first systems. Within Build to Rent and single-family rental, access is increasingly viewed as part of the wider resident experience, alongside growing demand for mobile-first solutions, seamless integration with resident platforms and systems that reduce operational friction.
The rebrand is also designed to support the next phase of the company’s development, with further product and technology enhancements planned later this year. These will focus on enhancing mobile access, creating more intuitive user journeys and further embedding access within wider building ecosystems.
TLJ operates across a range of sectors globally, with a focus on delivering smart, human-centric access control solutions supported by in-house engineering, installation and aftersales services.
