OHEAP Fire and Security Becomes an Eaton Premium Partner

On the 16th June, OHEAP Fire and Security proudly welcomed Eaton’s representatives Rachel Cowburn, Amr Abdoun and Gordon Thomas to formally announce the beginning of an exciting new partnership as Eaton’s newest Premium Partner.

Leading the meeting was OHEAP Fire and Security’s FD&A Senior Technical and Process Manager, Nisheel Dharamshi. The partnership marks another milestone in the company’s continued growth, following recent success at the 2026 Derby Business Expo and the launch of safety specialist billboards across the Midlands.

Expanding OHEAP’s Fire Detection Offerings

As a recognised Premium Partner, OHEAP Fire and Security is expanding its ability to deliver solutions that address the increasingly complex safety challenges faced in today’s built environments. Most recently, the company has strengthened its fire detection arsenal with a range of advanced addressable fire alarm control panels. These innovative systems are designed to simplify installation while enhancing system performance and safety.

Similarly, OHEAP Fire and Security is helping businesses adopt integrated fire alarm technology, providing building owners and Responsible Persons with real-time insight into system performance and building protection. Through its growing range of fire alarm solutions, the company can support integration with wider building management and IoT systems. This will help customers improve visibility of their building and assets and make faster decisions during critical incidents.

OHEAP Fire and Security also offers modular fire alarm systems that can be adapted as building requirements evolve. This helps customers futureproof their fire safety infrastructure while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

Pioneering Dynamic Wayfinding and Adaptive Evacuation

As buildings become larger and more complex, traditional static evacuation strategies are increasingly showing their limitations. To help address these challenges, OHEAP Fire and Security is developing its emergency lighting offerings to include dynamic wayfinding technologies that can support safer and more effective evacuations.

Historically, static emergency signage directed occupants towards fixed exit routes regardless of changing conditions within a building. In some situations, this could result in occupants being directed towards compromised exits or creating bottlenecks during an evacuation. Through its partnership with Eaton, OHEAP Fire and Security can now support customers with dynamic wayfinding systems that respond to real-time inputs from fire detection systems, CCTV and other connected building technologies. This allows evacuation guidance to adapt as an incident develops, directing occupants away from danger and towards safer exits.

For OHEAP Fire and Security customers, this provides access to more intelligent and responsive evacuation solutions, helping organisations improve occupant safety while supporting the development of smarter, future-ready buildings.

Delivering Safer Outcomes Together

By combining Eaton's industry-leading technology with OHEAP Fire and Security's design, installation and maintenance expertise, the partnership aims to deliver safer and more efficient building environments.

"We are excited about the opportunities this partnership brings,” says Nisheel Dharamshi. “We look forward to supporting the distribution and implementation of Eaton’s innovative solutions.”
