Verta column casings for hotels, sport & leisure

Used primarily to conceal structural steelwork and improve aesthetics, this combination of practicality and style are key features of the Verta range, which allow architects and specifiers to enhance the customer experience, using decorative casing solutions for both exterior and interior applications

As leisure sector buildings are often designed to deal with large volumes of people in foyers, reception areas and corridors, such as the Dame Kelly Holmes Sports Centre and Sunderland’s Hilton Garden Hotel, the decorative casings need to be highly durable while also requiring minimal maintenance.

In addition to installations at The National Memorial Arboretum’s events & banqueting facility and Premier Inn’s flagship hotel in Cardiff Bay, further high profile projects include Gateshead International Stadium, Jubilee 2 Gym in Stoke on Trent and Blackpool Health & Leisure Centre.

Circa and Quadra pre-formed MDF and plywood casings are usually specified with durable high pressure laminate (HPL) finishes for interior projects only, while our metal Forma metal range and Polyma GRP casings can be used in both exterior and interior applications.

Circa and Quadra allow circular, square and rectangular profiles to be specified while also providing a wide range of finish options with HPL being the most popular, as they have very good resistance to damage, scuffs and scratches. They also offer specifiers a diverse palette of finishes, which is essential for many leisure environments, such as restaurants and hotels.

Strength, durability and colour choice are also features of the Polyma GRP range. As they are produced from moulds, they offer a high degree of design flexibility, with their shape; size and colour choice all open to specification to meet bespoke project requirements.

Forma aluminium or stainless-steel column casings also extremely versatile and can be specified in circular, square and rectangular forms, as well as unique bespoke shapes. A wide choice of finishes is available including PPC coating in any BS or RAL colour, as well as brushed, anodised, embossed, or textured finishes, such as Rimex.
