Forwessun Hosts First “Forwessun Connect” Networking Evening

After a full day at SMTA Mexico 2026, Forwessun opened its Guadalajara facility to host the inaugural Forwessun Connect, an informal evening for electronics test, manufacturing and automation professionals. Attendees discussed in-circuit and functional test fixtures, test coverage and cycle times, and shared experiences over food and drink. Forwessun Connect will return; professionals can register their interest for the next event.

Forwessun opened its Guadalajara facility after the first day of SMTA Mexico 2026 to host the first Forwessun Connect, an evening for people working in electronics test, manufacturing and automation.

The idea was to give people somewhere to talk after a long day on the exhibition floor. Engineers and manufacturing teams came along to compare notes, swap ideas and meet others professionals from the industry.

Conversation covered in-circuit test and functional test fixtures, test coverage and cycle times, as well as the everyday problems that come up on the production line. A few of our test fixtures were on show at the venue.

"We talked about ICT and functional fixtures, test coverage, cycle times… and plenty of things that never come up in a meeting," said Ricardo Medina, Forwessun Mexico Sales Manager.

There was food and drink, and the atmosphere stayed relaxed. For many people, it was a chance to finally meet peers face to face.

Medina added: "Thank you to everyone who made the time to come after such a long day. You made this first edition even better than we expected."

The response has encouraged us to keep going. Forwessun Connect will return, and we'd like to make it a regular event for the electronics test and manufacturing community.
