BituChem manufacture a range of polymer-modified bondcoats, surface dressing binders, and ancillary products. We also supply and install our innovative range of highway preservation and repair systems.

NatraTex is our range of colourful, durable, versatile and cost-effective asphalt products for the hard landscaping industry, and is supplied to surfacing contractors throughout England and Wales.

PolyBond is a polymer-modified bondcoat used in the construction and maintenance of highways. It provides a thin adhesive layer between the layers of road construction and is used to prevent slippage of the asphalt layers. PolyBond is available in three grades: PolyBond 50, 65 and PolyBond Duo, which can be sprayed on both the highway and on the vertical joint at the same time. This mitigates the risk of an operative being put in harms way in a live traffic situation.

We also manufacture a packaged range of cationic emulsions for tackcoating, chipping works and joint painting:

BituTack 40 − for tack coating, available in bulk, 200 litre drums and 25 litre containers.

BituTack 70 − for chipping works, available in bulk, 200 litre drums and 25 litre containers.

Hot Joint Paint − used for the painting of joints and overbanding. Available in 20 litre steel or plastic containers.

Cold Seal Paint − used for the painting of vertical joints. Available in 20 litre plastic containers.

Preservation Products (applied by our contracting team)

FortSeal − A thin sprayed layer of machine applied polymer-modified highway emulsion, which seals and blackens the road surface to stop the ingress of water, which helps to prevent the formation of potholes.

LockChip − A sealed surface dressing system. A thin sprayed layer of machine applied polymer-modified highway emulsion. Applied directly on top of a newly surface dressed road, LockChip holds the chips in place, blackens and seals the road surface.

NatraTex

NatraTex Cotswold is our flagship product within the NatraTex range. As its name implies, NatraTex Cotswold reflects the natural buff colour of the stone in this part of the UK. Whatever the project; be it a bus lane, residential road, car park, footpath or domestic driveway; NatraTex Cotswold is the versatile, durable and cost-effective, fully bound asphalt surface course that you need. Manufactured hot in our dedicated asphalt plant, NatraTex Cotswold is laid in exactly the same way as conventional macadam.

NatraTex Colour. Manufactured, supplied and laid in the same way as NatraTex Cotswold, NatraTex Colour contains higher levels of pigment providing a stunning variety of colourful, vivid surface courses, which are ideal for areas of demarcation.
