A sweeping loop of GRP fascia soffit around an 1,800 sq ft custom built standalone pod at Whiteley retail and leisure. Profiling is complicated - on plan the GRP follows an eliptical path whilst its level rises and falls as it wraps around the new building. The project therefore called for very careful coordination of the double curving GRP design with the facetted glazing below, steelwork supports and wave like timber roof above. Each modular length was manufactured in fibreglass at D&D's London GRP factory and fully finished off site in a RAL c

Design & Display structures work closely with Architects, main contractors, interfacing trades and clients to turn exciting concepts and complex features into buildable structures using cleverly designed modular fibreglass moulds which are lightweight, factory finished, strong, durable and quick to site assemble. In addition we produce engineered timber profiles, support steel frameworks, acoustic & thermal insulation and internal fit outs in a variety of materials, theming and signage.

20/01/2017 - 17 No signature towers for Trago Mills Design & Display Structures have been appointed by main contractor Kier Construction Cardiff to design, manufacture and install a £1m+ 4,500m2 GRP architectural cladding package to 17 No Trago Towers for the £40m retail and leisure facility in Merthyr Tidfil, its first ever Welsh location.

14/01/2016 - YO! Sushi at Whiteley Village Fareham Design & Display Structures have completed a sweeping loop of GRP fascia soffit under a contract to McLaren Construction to build an 1,800 sq ft custom built standalone pod at the Whiteley retail and lesiure destination in Hampshire.
14/01/2016 - The Mailbox shopping centre, Birmingham Design & Display Structures were appointed by main contractor Galliford Try Construction Central to design, manufacture and install nearly 100 portal frames as part of a massive £50m refurbishment scheme.
21/06/2013 - OSC double skin GRP simulation dome at Nor Shipping Exhibition The new simulation projection dome product, the result of a long term collaboration between D&D and OSC, was proudly shown off on stand C02-24e at Nor Shipping exhibition being held in Oslo, Lillestrøm in June 2013.
