Carbon / Nitrogen C-N-Analyzers
The ELEMENTRAC CN-r is ideal for high-throughput labs requiring fast, reliable determination of nitrogen, protein, and carbon. Using the Dumas method—an established combustion-based alternative to the Kjeldahl method—it accurately measures total nitrogen and protein.
Featuring advanced hardware and an integrated touchscreen PC, operators can monitor and control all parameters easily. Its compact design saves valuable lab space, while the use of non-aggressive chemicals enhances safety compared to Kjeldahl analysis.
The system handles a wide range of natural samples, ensuring complete combustion in a pure oxygen atmosphere. A highly efficient, chromium-free catalyst fully oxidizes all components, preventing soot and liquid tin formation and ensuring stable, accurate results. Excess oxygen also simplifies method optimization.
The ELEMENTRAC CN-r’s innovative autosampler provides clear sample identification, avoiding mix-ups and enabling efficient processing of large sample volumes.
