Diaphragm Pumps
**Explore Our Range of Diaphragm Pumps**
Flotronic is a world leading manufacturer of air-operated Double Diaphragm Pumps and inventor of the revolutionary ‘one-nut’ design – a concept which has transformed the way they are being used throughout the industry.>The ‘One-nut’ ConceptThe ‘inside out’ concept allows fluid to pass ‘between the diaphragms’, directly through the centre of the pump. Air pressure operates ‘on the outside’. The benefits are:
Longer lasting diaphragms
An optimised stroke length allows use of thicker / stronger PTFE faced diaphragms as standard. One-Piece Nitrile and EPDM diaphragms are also available.
Faster Maintenance
Fifteen minutes to change diaphragms by the removal of just one nut and without disconnecting the pump from the pipework.
Lower cost spares
Less than half the quantity of spare parts than any equivalent pump and interchangeability of most air system parts between the different pump styles in our range.

Pump Repair
Comprehensive In-House Pump Servicing for Maximum Uptime
At HpE Process, we offer expert in-house pump servicing to keep your production running efficiently and hygienically. Our specialist engineers handle a full range of hygienic pumps, including Centrifugal, Rotary Lobe, Twin Screw, Diaphragm and more.
Each pump undergoes a thorough process. Once received, our technicians disassemble the unit, clean all components, and inspect them for wear or damage. A detailed service report and a competitive quotation are then sent directly to you for approval.
Upon confirmation, the pump is reassembled in our dedicated cleanroom facility to maintain the highest hygienic standards. We perform rigorous static pressure tests, dynamic pressure assessments, and flow testing to ensure full functionality. For added peace of mind, we offer sanitisation either during the rebuild or after final testing—ideal for pumps returning to sensitive food, beverage, or pharmaceutical production environments.
We service all leading pump brands, regardless of origin or application. Whether you need routine maintenance, emergency repair, or full refurbishment, our team delivers precision work and fast turnaround times.
Why Choose HpE Pump Servicing?
- Extended Equipment Life – Prevent wear-related failures and increase operational lifespan.
- Enhanced Hygiene Compliance – Rebuilds in a controlled cleanroom reduce contamination risks.
- Cost Efficiency – Identify and replace only worn parts, avoiding unnecessary replacements.

Welding and Fabrication
At our fully equipped workshop, we deliver expert welding and fabrication services tailored for the hygienic sectors, including food, beverage, personal care, and household products. Our qualified welders carry out every weld with purging to maintain cleanliness and structural integrity. Each item is then polished to meet exact customer specifications, ensuring a hygienic, high-quality finish.
All fabrication adheres to stringent food-grade standards, following 3-A Sanitary Standards and EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) guidelines where applicable. With in-house CAD capabilities, we model all custom projects, allowing for clients to review and approve before fabrication begins—ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the outset.
Why Use Professional Welders in the Hygienic Industry?
- Contamination Prevention – Expert welders create smooth, crevice-free joints that eliminate potential bacterial traps, ensuring equipment remains compliant with hygiene regulations.
- Improved Durability – Professionally welded components withstand high-pressure cleaning, corrosion, and thermal cycling, extending equipment lifespan.
- Operational Efficiency – Precision welding reduces maintenance requirements, minimises production downtime, and improves system reliability.
Bespoke Fabrication Solutions for Food & Beverage Production
We specialise in delivering custom-engineered solutions for the food and beverage sector. Our team provides expert guidance and precision-built products that help manufacturers achieve continuous, efficient production with minimal waste. Clients across industries rely on our support to implement hygienic processing systems that deliver commercially viable results.
Reduced downtime, minimal waste, and a faster return on investment are just some of the key benefits we offer. Our end-to-end service includes design, production, installation, personnel training, and ongoing maintenance. Many of our clients bring their own equipment concepts to us, and with our technical know-how, we help optimise their designs for seamless integration and enhanced performance.
Valve Service
Hygienic Valve Servicing for Critical Process Applications. Our Hygienic Valve Service covers the maintenance, repair, and replacement of valves used in industries where hygiene is critical—such as food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics production. These environments demand strict sanitation standards, and valves must perform reliably to protect product integrity and meet regulatory compliance. We service a wide range of hygienic valves, including ball valves, diaphragm valves, butterfly valves, and mixproof valves. These essential components require routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance to prevent contamination, support efficient cleaning-in-place (CIP), and reduce unplanned downtime.
Five Key Aspects of Our Hygienic Valve Service:
Deep Cleaning and Decontamination. We disassemble each valve and clean it using food-safe solutions that remove product residue, scale, and biofilm—eliminating potential bacterial build-up. Visual and Mechanical Inspection. Our technicians examine every component for wear, damage, corrosion, or misalignment that could affect performance or hygiene standards. Seal and Gasket Replacement We replace all seals, O-rings, and gaskets with certified materials to ensure sterility and extend valve service life. Valve Reconditioning and Lubrication We polish surfaces to restore smooth operation and apply FDA-approved lubricants to critical moving parts. Function Testing and Certification After reassembly, we test each valve for pressure retention, leak integrity, and actuation. You receive a full service report and traceable certification for audits. Whether you need a one-off refurbishment or a scheduled maintenance plan, our hygienic valve service protects your production line and brand. Contact us to book a service or discuss a tailored solution for your facility.
Approved Evoguard Service Partner - We are the Proven Evoguard Service Partner for the UK. Joe Pope has successfully completed all training required as well as already having serviced various sites with Krones fillers. To ensure servicing is carried out quickly and efficiently we keep stock on the seals / seal kits. Should this service be something of interest to you please contact us on 0113 252 6712.
Planned Preventative Maintenance
Re-active maintenance = risk of costly downtime
Securing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for a process plant is one of the most effective ways to protect asset integrity, minimise downtime, and ensure consistent product quality. While daily operations often take priority, a structured PPM approach enables engineering teams to take control of long-term performance rather than reacting to failures.
- Improved Equipment Reliability
A comprehensive PPM ensures that critical components—such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and automation systems—are inspected, serviced, and calibrated before issues escalate. This proactive approach reduces unplanned breakdowns and extends the life of essential equipment, allowing plants to operate at optimum performance. - Reduced Unplanned Downtime
Unexpected failures are costly, disruptive, and can significantly impact production. By following a PPM schedule, engineers can plan maintenance windows around operational needs, preventing emergency stoppages. This strategic planning leads to better resource allocation, lower labour costs, and greater operational stability. - Enhanced Safety and Compliance
Routine maintenance ensures equipment remains compliant with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and site safety protocols. PPM helps identify wear, degradation, and potential hazards before they become risks, safeguarding personnel and reducing organisational liability. - Optimised Energy and Resource Efficiency
Well-maintained equipment operates more efficiently, consuming less energy and reducing waste. PPM supports proper lubrication, cleaning, calibration, and part replacement—helping plants minimise product loss, reduce water usage, and maintain stable processes. The result is improved efficiency and lower operating costs. - Better Budget Predictability and Asset Planning
Annual maintenance planning offers clearer visibility of upcoming costs and operational needs. By forecasting maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades, plants can avoid unexpected expenses and improve long-term capital planning.
