Obsidian Security started in August 1999 becoming a limited company in January 2003. In 2012 the company purchased new premises in Aylesford, Kent expanding our offices, stores and workshop. Our skills in maintaining and providing integrated fire and security equipment have been well proven in this time, gaining recognition with the SSAIB in 2008 followed by BAFE and NSI for Fire detection and Alarm systems − certified under the SP203-1 scheme. All staff are fully security checked to the BS7858 standard. This includes a CRB and background history check provided by an approved specialist company. We are regularly inspected by the SSAIB and NSI and are required to demonstrate our competence in all areas of our business.
