Plastic Routing

Established in 1993, VAPLAS Ltd is a family run company based in West Yorkshire who are specialists in supply, fabrication & CNC machining.

Plastic Machining
Plastic machining is what we do. For plastic machining we use a variety of methods including CAD-CAM, 3D modelling, 4 axis machining, milling, turning, cutting, drilling, gears, bearings, bushes and close tolerance applications. Work is carried out by our highly skilled staff who produce only the highest quality products.
Milling
Our CNC mills are able to machine intricate, precise one-off parts, or batch quantity of thousands, both from plastic or aluminium. The strictest quality control standards are operated throughout every stage of manufacture.
Plastic Turning
Plastic turning is one of the key stages of the CNC plastic machining process. It is a form of machining used to produce rotational, asymmetric parts such as holes, threads and grooves. It is also ideal for prototyping several solutions. VAPLAS have recently expanded their machine shop from one NLX 2500 SY/700 Mill Turn machine to include two brand new DMG Mori CLX 450 Universal Turning Centres.

The investment in CNC routers with full CAD-CAM operation and 4th axis units ensures a routing service which delivers a professional, prompt and precise service. VAPLAS are able to produce almost any cut shape from an extensive range of industrial plastics achieving an exceptional standard of finish and accuracy every time.
