MRI Shielding

Using a series of purpose-made components produced from the highest quality materials, each cage is designed and manufactured in our modern UK factory to suit the site conditions and satisfy the requirements of each individual contract.

Protective barriers within walls, floors, ceilings, entrance doors and windows ensure that patients, staff and members of the public are exposed to the minimum amount of radiation in industrial facilities and hospital diagnostic and therapy departments

Bespoke Engineering Services

Design and Fabrication

Encompassing the lastest computer design software and modern fabrication and machining equipment, we are able to produce top quality products from ‘one off’ specials right through to large batch quantities.

Our highly skilled CNC operatives have extensive knowledge of both vertical machining centres and high production lathes. This coupled with rigourous checking procedures and regular calibration combine to give accurate, fast and cost effective components.

About us

Wardray Premise Limited is a 4th generation family run and owned business. The business was started 1909, as a joinery company.

The Company’s current portfolio includes:

Accessory products and solutions for X-ray and MRI environments;
Structural radiation shielding products for medical diagnostic and radiotherapy applications; and
Industrial shielding for non-destructive testing (NDT) facilities.

Wardray Premise is based in the UK with two manufacturing facilities. 65 staff are employed across their business activities and this includes a team of service engineers covering the UK supporting their installed base. The company has a turnover of £6m and operate globally with agents in 30 countries.

They are key suppliers to all equipment manufacturers (Philips, GE, Siemens and Toshiba) and have worked successfully with numerous main contractors. They have a track record of delivering projects and services on time, on budget and meeting client expectations.

Wardray’s business philosophy is Quality without Compromise. This quality ethos is underpinned by their ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485 accreditations. In addition, they are committed to the use of sustainable timber under their Chain of Custody standards FSC: FSC-STD-04-004.
